As of May 2016, ARES has 1642 members, including 746 members of Alpha Sigma Gamma, the real estate society. We at ARES are very proud of the involvement and the loyalty of our membership. Over 400 hundred ARES members are academics, with another 100 members being students. ARES strives to mentor new PhDs as they start their careers. Further, we have nearly 300 professional members. The interaction between the professionals and academics is valuable for both. Last April, we had our annual conference in Denver, Colorado. This annual event provides both scholarly and social interaction space attendees.
When you consider that an ARES membership not only gives you access to six real estate journals, but also to a large network of academics and real estate professionals, you realize that ARES can be a valuable asset to both your career and your personal development. The ARES leadership continuously and diligently works to improve ARES and broaden the horizons. I am confident in ARES continuing growth both in membership numbers and the quality of our product. ARES offers an incredible package of benefits for a very reasonable membership fee. If you are not an ARES member already, I urge you to become part of the ARES network. If you have any questions, please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or our Manager of Member Services, Diane Quarles (email@example.com).
